I'm a university student, majoring in English. Despite this I refuse to place the word 'an' before a hard U, or before an H word. I know a vast majority of the rules of the english language, yet I prefer to write what I think sounds better rather than what is structurally or grammatically correct.

To put things simply, I'm a nerd. I play Dungeons and Dragons at least once a week, or Call of Cthulhu whenever my group gets tired of the d20 system. I'm always the Keeper for Call of Cthulhu which suits me just fine, that way they have no idea what terrible abberations are in store for their characters.

I love reading and writing, and yet I also play video games frequently. I generally find myself at a loss for words when people tell me that an interest in literature doesn't mix with an interest in video games. Quite frankly, I don't think that's true at all.

With my love for the written word there are many who assume that I would find myself above the use of the lowly pun. Sadly these people couldn't be further from the truth.

Anime used to be a really big part of my life, but that is no longer the case. I still watch the occasional show but there isn't much that interests me. That being said there are still some remenants left from my anime days so if you read my journal be prepared for a few Pokemon references.

I am fairly political and up to date with currant events, but I generally keep my political opinions to myself. Also, there haven't been too many revolutions in the raisin industry so I don't talk about currant events that often either... And that would be an example of one of my puns.

One final thing worth mentioning. I'm chaste to the extreme, but not for religious reasons. It's hard to do anything for religious reasons when you're agnostic.
